In Charlotte, there are a lot of tree companies. Some are local, like us. Others are part of large national companies backed by investors or private equity.
That distinction matters more than people think.

Large companies (even ones with a big presence in Charlotte like Lowe’s) employ a lot of local people, which is a good thing. But at the end of the day, they’re owned by shareholders and focused on maintaining profit margins for investors.

They’re run by people who live here, raise families here, and spend money here. When you hire or buy from a local company, more of that money stays in the Charlotte economy instead of flowing out to shareholders.
“Shop Local” — But Be Specific
